M&S Almond Drink (Unsweetened) |
M&S seem to have dropped the Multigrain and the Rice drink from the ‘made without’ range. The ingredients are similar and the almond and cashew nut milks contain very little in the way of nuts (2-3%) as an ingredient. However, you can find brands with more. For example, Eco Mil, Provamel Organic and Rude Health contain around 7% almonds.

So far I’ve only purchased the cashew drink. I’m a regular purchaser of Alpro’s cashew drink which I love. However I was impressed with the flavour of M&S Cashew drink which was quite similar to Alpro’s. I’d happily buy that one again.

They’re all low in calories, apart from the Oat drink which has 49 calories per 100ml (the same as semi skimmed milk). Most Oat drinks tend to have more calories because they add oil. If you’re looking for an oil free oat milk, I love Oatly Skinny Oat milk (see post) which has 37 calories per 100ml with no added oil and still manages to produce a lovely creamy taste AND froths up really well.
