Warburtons Soft White Sandwich Thins

A slice of bread from the average sized large loaf contains around 95 calories, or more for thick sliced and seeded breads. And if you’re making a sandwich you’ll need two slices, giving you at least 200 calories before you’ve added any spread or filling.

One easy way to cut the calories in your sandwich is by switching to one of the newer bread alternatives. For example, Kingsmill 50/50 Deli Softs (147 calories each) or 50/50 pockets (110 calories each).

Here’s another tasty new offering, this time from Warburtons called 'Sliced Sandwich Thins'. These square shaped, thinly sliced white bread rolls have just 100 calories each. You can use them exactly as you would bread to make a lighter, lower calorie sandwich. Or you could try out some of the delicious suggestions on the pack. My favourite is using them as a mini pizza base.

Warburtons Sandwich Thin (100 calories for both slices)
Although thinner than the average slice of bread, they hold together well so you don't need to worry about them disintegrating while you're eating.

Warburtons Sandwich Thins x 6 can be found in larger supermarkets.
