All Butter Belgian Waffles – Marks & Spencer

A waffle smothered in chocolate sauce or drizzled with syrup can clock up 200 calories or more. But, if you want a small taste of a delicious Belgian Waffle, you could check out Marks & Spencer’s delicious, crisp, All Butter Belgian Waffles.

Each 150g box of Belgian Waffles holds a tray of 22 waffles, sealed inside a silver foil wrapper. As soon as you open the wrapping, you can’t help but notice the buttery aroma escaping from within. They have a slightly crunchy outer with a soft centre and they taste wonderful. Must have something to do with all that butter – it makes up 24% of each waffle.

Unfortunately, but to be expected, such a treat is high in fat, salt and sugar. However, on a brighter note, each waffle has just 30 calories and yes, they really are made in Belgium.

These waffles are more of an alternative to biscuits rather than a replacement for dessert style waffles. They are so moreish that it might be wise to take one or two then hide them away out of site.

You can find All Butter Belgian Waffles in Marks & Spencer Foodhalls and they have a shelf life of around 6 months.
