
In this case, they were on a special offer. Plus my kids are fed up with seeing porridge oats and Weetabix in the cupboard. So in a moment of weakness I thought, go on then. Just one packet to review.
All Bran Chocolate Wheats are packed in a 450g box and contains 10 x 45g servings. Though knowing my lot, that will equate to about 5 servings.

Unfortunately I didn’t see that until I got home. I thought they were just chocolate flavoured shredded wheat type things. I was even less keen on them once I saw they had a chocolate filling.

I have to admit, I quite like these. While I wouldn't personally include them as part of my healthy eating regime, they do have some good points.

Per 100g Chocolate Wheats contain 10g of fibre, with around 4.5g per serving. They’re also low in salt.
Not so great – the ingredients (see below)! They're high in sugar and saturated fat. Chocolate makes up 23% of the cereal!
After my children tried them, they also agreed they liked them, but said they prefer the Honey Nut variety of Shredded Wheat! When it comes to All Bran, it’s the Golden Crunch they love best. I wish they liked plain shredded wheat, I think it's gorgeous, but they just want to add tons of sugar.
Found in the usual supermarkets.
