Warburtons Brown and Seeded Square Wraps

Wraps are a popular choice to use as an alternative to good old bread. Most wraps are round in shape and often cause all sorts of problems when it comes to wrapping them up while retaining the filling.

Warburtons came up with a great idea by introducing White Square Wraps which I reviewed back in March this year (2012) (See post).

Since then, Warburtons have brought out Brown Square Wraps and Seeded Square Wraps.

Just like the white variety, you get 6 to a pack and can use them exactly as you would regular wraps. Each Brown Square wrap has 187 calories and the Seeded Wraps have 181 calories which is a bit more than the white variety.

Warburtons Brown Square Wraps are made with wheat and wholemeal flour rather than just wheat flour like the white wraps. This gives them a chewier texture as well as extra fibre. The Seeded wraps have added brown and golden linseeds as well as the distinctive poppy seeds.

What the pack says:

Brown square-ish wraps

"This could actually be the best thing since sliced bread. A wrap you can top, roll or fold with whatever you like to make a delicious meal or snack, at any time!"
-Jonathan Warburton

They’re highly versatile and can be used as a pizza base, a wrap for salads and meat, or simply grill them as you would a Panini. They’re also easy to fold however you like and they hold fillings well.

Available in larger UK supermarkets.
