Olives are one of those snacks people seem to either love or hate. Even those that do like them often only like one colour – black or green.
My hubby is partial to the green ones and often arrives home with a new jar or tub of olives. (I don’t buy them).
Last week he brought home a 170g tub of stuffed olives from Marks and Spencer called ‘Plump Greek olives stuffed with slices of pimento pepper’. They actually looked quite appetising.
Here’s their description:
Halkidiki Olives stuffed with pimento.
From the renowned groves of the Halkidiki peninsula… glorious queen olives deliciously stuffed with sweet pimento pepper.
Until quite recently, I was an olive hater. But if they’ve got interesting flavours or fillings, such as those delivered in Graze boxes, I can just about tolerate eating them. These olives from M&S looked particularly ‘meaty’ and I had to try one out.

These are definitely for those who really like their green olives because there’s a lot to them.
They’re quite good calorie wise. Each 170g tub contains 22 olives with 10.8 calories each or 238 calories for the whole pot.
Available in the delicatessen section in Marks & Spencer foodhalls.
