Tomato & Basil Melba Toasts - Morrisons

Melba toasts are wafer thin, crunchy crackers which are generally very low in calories. They're ideal for slimmers looking for something to snack on without worrying about the fat or calories.

These days you can find numerous brands of melba toasts and often it's hard to tell them apart as they're all quite similar. I suppose there's only so much you can do to when making them. But here's variety which is a little different from many others on sale.

Morrisons Tomato & Basil melba toasts are low in calories, dry and crunchy like the majority of other melba toasts. But the fact that these are flavoured with tomato and basil makes them a bit more interesting.

You don't need to add much to these as the tomato and basil flavour is quite strong. In fact, simply spreading them with a bit of low fat cream cheese and topping with some cherry tomatoes makes a tasty and reasonably satisfying 'in-between' meals snack.
