Cadbury Dairy Milk Bubbly Bars

I adore Cadbury’s chocolate but prefer buying smaller bars rather than the big blocks. So when I heard about the new Dairy Milk Bubbly Bars, I couldn’t wait to try one.

Unfortunately, they only seem to be available in larger 90g or 100g sizes. After giving up waiting for them to come out in a smaller size, I bought one of the 100g white choc bubbly bars. Strangely, the milk chocolate variety is sold in 90g bars.

I was expecting them to look like one of the Aero bubble bars, but this is quite different. While the inside is full of delicious bubbly white chocolate, the outside is shaped like lots of bigger bubbles.

This is such an innovative idea. However, it’s not that easy breaking off a single bubble. This makes it a bit difficult to work out exactly how many calories you're eating with each bit you break off. Overall the whole bubbly white chocolate bar has 530 calories, and the milk chocolate 90g bar has 480 calories.

Bubbly bars are absolutely delicious and they're a welcome addition to Cadbury's range of chocolate bars. However, I hope they are planning to produce the Bubbly bars in a smaller size as those big bars are just too tempting.
