These Mini Highland Oatcakes from Sainsbury’s have a crunchy, grainy texture which is quite different to wheat-based crispbreads or crackers. And if you're watching your weight, each oatcake has just 22 calories.
They may look like a biscuit and have the word ‘cake’ in their name, but they’re not in any way sweet. And although they’re pleasant enough to eat on their own, they go well with cheese in place of crackers and are ideal as canapés when topped with something like cream cheese and smoked salmon.
