There's the regular Tomato soup we all know, then there's a low sugar version and also an Organic version. So what is the difference?
I would love to be able to give a proper taste comparison review with these soups. Unfortunately, I seem to have lost my sense of taste and smell, a nasty side effect of Covid-19! But my daughter happily consumed all of these soups and to be honest, she couldn't tell any major difference between them.
If you're going for a lower calorie soup, then the no added sugar is the one to go for. It does contain sweetener in the form of stevia so this is something to consider if you don't like the taste of sweeteners. The whole can has 136 calories compared with the Organic can with 224 calories and the Original with 204 calories.
Although the No Added Sugar soup has the lowest amount of sugar, all three are within the green traffic light for low sugar.
Pricewise they are similar although I did buy them all on special offer at the time of purchase.
Available at most larger supermarkets (but not all right now during the Coronavirus epidemic).
