Marks and Spencer Alternative Milk Drinks

marks and spencer oat milk drinkIn line with many other supermarkets, Marks and Spencer now have their own range of alternative milk drinks. They're all included as part of the M&S 'Made Without' range of products. So these are in the made without dairy group.

This includes: Coconut Drink, Rice Drink, Almond Drink, Oat DrinkSoya Drink, and the newest in the range Multigrain Drink.

The ingredients appear to be quite standard. The Almond milk contains only 1.5% almonds which is comparable with major brands such as Alpro and Almond Breeze. However, you can find brands with more. For example, Eco Mil, Provamel Organic and Rude Health contain around 7% almonds.

All of them are fortified with calcium which is something to be aware of if you’re replacing dairy.

I only purchased the coconut milk to try and found the taste similar to the Koko Dairy Free coconut milk.

Here’s what Marks and Spencer say on the cartons:

‘All our Made Without products are carefully tailored for customers with special dietary requirements. They are made in a specially controlled environment so you can be sure they are safe for you to enjoy.
