Graze Box Snack Review - Veggie Sushi Plate

Graze Veggie sushi plate snackVeggie Sushi Plate is a Japanese style snack. It’s not, however, sushi in the usual sense as there’s no rice involved. The main ingredients are ginger and nori peanuts, Japanese seaweed rice crackers and wasabi coated peas.

Key health benefits outlined by Graze for this snack are its fibre content plus the whole punnet has just 104 calories, meaning it's a 'Graze light' snack

I've tried out lots of Graze’s rice crackers and loved them all. These didn’t disappoint with their crisp and spicy outer coating made from ingredients including soy sauce, paprika and chilli. Each cracker has a sprinkling of seaweed on the outside, although I couldn't taste it. They’re mildly spicy and easy to eat with no chilli burn.

The ginger and nori peanuts were my favourite in this snack. Each peanut is coated in a crunchy outer layer made from wheat flour spiced with ginger, turmeric, curcumin and annatto. These are an unusual flavour combination for a peanut but it works well and they’re very moreish.

The final part to this snack are the wasabi coated peas. These are made up from regular green peas, coated with a crispy mixture of rice, sugar, soya sauce and wasabi powder. Now I should have been prepared for this, but munching through the first wasabi coated pea brought tears to my eyes. These are seriously hot! They’re not all equally as intense, but be prepared. If you like your wasabi, then you’ll love these.

  1. I love Graze boxes, so yummy. Although, I do find I end up eating the whole box in one ago which I'm sure isn't the point!!
