It all started with Belvita, and one by one, they’ve been joined by a growing range of breakfast biscuits from the competition.
Now famous biscuit makers, McVitie’s, are getting in on the act with their own version of breakfast biscuit. These are called Breakfast Porridge Oats and they’re available in three varieties: Oat & Honey, Red Berries and Apple, Sultana & Cinnamon. Each biscuit has 57 calories.

It seemed inevitable that McVitie’s would enter the breakfast biscuit market. They certainly have the expertise and experience, which dates right back to 1809 with apprentice baker, Robert McVitie.

I tried these for the first time this week and I found the honey flavour a bit too strong for my liking but they were certainly filling. I think I shall try the apple and cinnamon ones next once I have got through the rest of these!
ReplyDeleteYes, there's no mistaking it's honey! Apple & cinnamon's next on my list too.
