All you do is add boiling water to the contents, whisk thoroughly for 2 minutes then stand for a minute before serving. This makes 150mls or quarter of a pint of custard and has 93 calories and 3 ProPoints.
I love custard but never eat it because of the calories. However, that doesn't mean I deprive my family of the delights of custard for dessert. Generally, I use Birds custard powder because everyone likes it, plus it’s easy to make in the microwave.
I didn't get my hopes up for this Weight Watchers custard, mainly due to bad taste experiences with various other packs of instant custard powers made up with water.
And I’m sorry to say, this was another such occasion. The custard powder was quite grainy, not like cornflour at all. It did smell a little like vanilla though. The water had to be boiling in order for the custard to thicken and, after squashing a few lumps at the top, the end result was reasonably thick and smooth.

As for the taste, it’s quite insipid and weak and bears little resemblance to custard. It only makes 150ml so there’s just enough for one person. However, I served it for two with chopped banana. In all honesty I couldn't recommend this for its taste. But it is easy to make and is low in fat, saturates and salt.
Suitable for vegetarians.
