Weight Watchers from Heinz Mexican Chilli

I bought this Weight Watchers Mexican Chilli ready meal online thinking it was their Chilli Beef & Potato Wedges. (Reviewed here). However, they are not the same, as this meal is actually a Weight Watchers from Heinz version from their Classic Range.

This Mexican Chilli is described as: 'Minced beef with red kidney beans in mild chilli sauce served with crunchy potato wedges.'

Each 320g pack is suitable for serving one person and is worth 6 ProPoints and 245 calories.

Weight Watchers from Heinz Mexican Chilli is a frozen ready meal, rather than chilled and should therefore be cooked from frozen. It takes about 45 minutes in the oven or 8 minutes in the microwave.
Still frozen
This is a mildly spicy Mexican chilli with lots of red kidney beans and chunky potato wedges. Cooking the meal in the oven makes it easier to get the crunchiness in the potatoes.

After cooking
Serve this meal together with some fresh salad or vegetables for a delicious and filling meal of around 300 calories. Plus it’s healthy with low levels of sugar, fat and saturated fat.

Available in the freezer section of supermarkets which stock Weight Watchers from Heinz ready meals.

Nutrition Information per 320g meal: 245 calories, 14.0g protein, 29.6g carbohydrate, 5.2g sugars, 6.8g fat, 2.9g saturates, 4.4g fibre, 1.7g salt.
