Reason 1. The cost of buying lots of individual pots can be quite expensive, even with the multi buy deals. Reason 2. Lots of small pots take up so much space in the fridge.
Reason 3. Natural yogurt is so versatile and I can use it in smoothies, and as a topping for fruit.
Reason 4. Eating natural, unadulterated yogurt is simply healthier.
Each week I’ve been trying out different brands and this week it was the turn of Yeo Valley 0% Natural Yogurt ‘Tastier and Creamier’.

Yeo Valley 0% fat yogurt is an organic bio live yogurt with no added ingredients. Despite having 0% fat, it has a delicious, creamy consistency with a mild taste. It’s actually quite similar to the Danone Activia Natural low fat yogurt. This is definitely one of my favourites and will be a regular on my shopping list from now on.
Yeo Valley's natural yogurt with 4% fat is also available in a 1kg pot but so far I haven't seen the 0% fat variety in this size.
Here is quick nutritional comparison between the 0% fat and 4% fat yogurts per 100ml:

I must say I really enjoy the Yeo Valley range too. Quite creamy and satisfying even for a fat free option.
ReplyDeleteYes it is lovely. It's the only Yeo variety I buy though as the flavoured yogs have sugar added which adds too much to the calorie count (for me) :(
