Graze Box Delivery Date: 5 October 2012

This week was no different. Since the recent introduction of Graze's new snacks with dips, I've so far had five out of their current range of 13 dip snacks. This week I was sent number six - ‘Bonnie Wee Oatbakes’.
Previous favourites to make up the four snacks included:
Perfect Seeded Granola (oat flakes, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, honey, maple syrup, sesame seeds, linseeds), reviewed in week 9, Green Olives with Basil and Garlic reviewed in week 12 and Cookies and Cream (mini chocolate cookies, roasted hazelnuts, sunflower seeds and white chocolate buttons) reviewed in week 29.

Bonnie Wee Oatbakes
Bonnie Wee Oatbakes has two symbols on the front of the pack, 'Fibre' and 'Graze Light'. This means it’s a good source of fibre and the snack has between 110 and 150 calories.
The right hand side holds seven tiny cheese & chive flavoured oatbakes. On the left hand side in a separate sealed section is the dip. This one is called red onion marmalade.
The oatcakes are light and crumbly with a hint of the cheese and chive flavours. I was pleased about this as cheese flavoured biscuits and crackers are often overpowered by a strong cheese flavour. But these were just right. Like some of Graze’s other biscuits with dips, these oatbakes are perfectly delicious on their own.
Looking at the dip, it's quite dark and I imagined it might taste something like Branston pickle. Even after peeling back the lid, the strong pickle smell made me think of Branston. However, it’s not the same. This is called a marmalade and is a mixture of sharp, sweet and tangy.
The ingredients for the marmalade are red onions, white wine vinegar, muscovado sugar, sugar, balsamic vinegar and black pepper. It’s perfectly matched with the oatbakes and I enjoyed them so much I couldn't help but eat the lot in one go before giving any one else a chance to taste them. Therefore, I’m giving Bonnie Wee Oatbakes a rating of LOVE.
Calories for the snack: 114.
