Guilt Free Snacking Marks & Spencer Treats

Marks & Spencer have brought out a range of specially designed tasty treats under a new label called ‘Guilt Free Snacking’. These treats include savoury snacks such as potato chips, and sweet treats like popcorn.

They’re easy to spot as they all have the Guilt free snacking’ white cloud symbol on the front of the packs.

These snacks are helpful for those who want to grab a tasty treat without worrying about the calories.

The calories per pack varies depending on which you choose, but they’re all around the 100 calorie mark.

The guilt free ‘Count on us’ snacking range is described as:
Guilt free snacking’ Specially designed tasty treats, portion controlled to help you whether you are on a diet, eating healthily or just fancy a little bit of indulgence! Designed to fit in with your Count on Us menu planner.
Savoury snacks include:

Cheese & Onion Popped Potato Chips95 calories per pack (23g)
Not fried & not baked. The deliciously moreish alternative to potato chips.

Sour Cream & Chilli Lentil Curls90 calories per pack (22g)
Deliciously different crunchy snacks baked not fried for less fat.

These are made with lentil flour (46%) and potato starch. Wonderfully crunchy with zingy chilli kick.

Salted Popped Potato Chips 95 calories per pack (23g)
Not fried & not baked. The deliciously moreish alternative to potato chips.

'Guilt free' snacks which are not part of the ‘Count on us’ range are described as ‘specially designed tasty treats, to help you count your calories.

Sweet snacks include:

Chocolate & Pecan Popcorn130 calories per bag (27g)
Toffee-covered popcorn drizzled with Belgian chocolate & pecan pieces.

These are absolutely fantastic and such an indulgence. Thank goodness there are only 16 pieces in this pack. How easy it would be to eat four times this amount. BUT of course this would be 4 times the calories!

Strawberry & White Chocolate Popcorn115 calories per bag (27g)
Toffee-covered popcorn drizzled with creamy white chocolate & dried strawberry pieces.

All the above snacks are suitable for vegetarians.

Sour Cream & Chilli Lentil Curls per bag: 90 calories, 3.0g protein, 14.4g carbohydrate, 1.2g sugars, 1.9g fat, 0.3g saturates, 0.66g salt.

Strawberry & White Chocolate popcorn per 27g bag: 115 calories, 0.8g protein, 21.5g carbohydrate, 16.9g sugars, 2.8g fat, 1.5g saturates, 0.7g fibre, 0.23g salt.

  1. I love the M&S lentil curls! Very different from other low fat crisps on the market, and fairly high in protein too which i think is a bonus.

  2. I love them too. They are quite spicy and take longer to eat because there are lots of them.

  3. I love the M&S popcorn, and yes it would be very easy to eat way more than one bag! I need to try the White Chocolate and Strawberry Popcorn too.

    1. That's lovely too but I think the Choc & pecan is my fave.
