Cadbury’s have produced these cute, lifelike gold medals made from their delicious milk chocolate. Each gold medal has 120 calories, so not too bad a choice calorie wise if you’re after a chocolate fix.
They're encased in gold coloured foil (like the chocolate coins) with the British flag and Cadbury’s logo embossed on the front.
The Olympic Gold Medals for London 2012 are larger than normal, measuring 85mm in diameter and 7mm thick. They’re also a weighty 375-400g.
Cadbury’s gold medals are a little smaller and lighter, measuring 75mm in diameter, 4mm thick and weighing just 23g.
Just like the chance of grabbing an Olympic gold medal comes around once every 4 years, it’s likely Cadbury's Gold medals will disappear from sight once the memories of the Olympics start to fade. So don’t miss out.
Found in a branch of Waitrose.
