Mini Redcurrant Puffs, by Sainsbury's - NEW

This is a new product from Sainsbury’s called Mini Redcurrant Puffs. These tiny biscuits (a bit larger than a £2 coin) are sort of a cross between a biscuit and a miniature pastry. They’re available in 150g packs with each biscuit worth 17 calories.

The outside has a delicious crispy flaky pastry topped with a crunchy sugar glaze. And in the middle is a dollop of redcurrant fruit flavoured filling which has the consistency of set gel.

The pack size is 150g which works out at an average of 763 calories for the entire contents. But with just 17 calories each, treating yourself to the odd two or three shouldn’t do much damage to the waistline.

Found in Sainsbury’s stores in the biscuits aisle.
