Light at Heart Sugar and Stevia Blend NEW

Light at Heart’ is a combination of granulated sugar and Stevia – a natural sweetener. It’s twice as sweet as sugar so you only use half the amount. This means 50 percent fewer calories.
White sugar + Stevia Blend

A teaspoon of granulated sugar has 16 calories, so swapping to Light at Heart means you only use half a teaspoon to get the same sweetness and just 8 calories.

Light at Heart Sugar & Stevia Blend is available in a white sugar blend and brown sugar blend in handy 450g flip top cartons. It’s natural and free from artificial ingredients and can be used in the same way as regular sugar, ie in hot drinks, baking or sprinkling – just use half the amount.

Because this is essentially sugar which is twice as sweet, it's easy to forget to use half the amount. But apart from that, you'd be hard pushed to tell it apart from plain sugar.  It’s also a good idea to remind other members of the household that it’s twice as sweet to avoid using up too much.
