Nairn's Oat Biscuits - All Under 45 Calories

Nairn’s have been making oatcakes since 1988, so if anyone knows how to make a tasty oatcake, it’s them. With people becoming increasingly aware of the benefits of eating oats, Nairn’s have been extending their range to include not just savoury oatcakes, but Oaty bakes (see post) and four different delicious varieties of oat biscuits which all have less than 45 calories.

Flavours include: Stem Ginger, Mixed Berries, Dark Chocolate Chip and Fruit & Spice. Each variety is smartly packaged in an appropriately coloured 200g box so you can easily spot which is which. And inside the packs you’ll find four individually wrapped packs of five biscuits.
Dark Chocolate Chip

If you’re not familiar with oatcakes, they have a slightly different texture to regular wheat biscuits. They’re quite a hard baked biscuit and have a bit of a grainy consistency.

What Nairn have to say about their lovely range of oat biscuits:

Bursting with natural, indulgent flavours, Nairn’s oat biscuits are a delicious, healthy alternative for all the family. Full of wholegrain goodness, oats are not only high in soluble fibre, they are also packed full of slow energy release carbohydrates which keeps you going for longer! The perfect accompaniment to a cup of tea of coffee, or keep a pouch in your bag to eat when you’re on the go.

The distinctive packaging of Nairn’s Oat Biscuits really makes them stand out and get noticed. Each variety is uniquely different in taste, though they still have that underlying oatcake texture, which some people might find a little dry. But all the flavours are rich, vibrant and natural tasting with ingredients including stem ginger, dark chocolate chips, dried fruit and spices.

Nairn’s Oat Biscuits are all suitable for vegans and vegetarians apart from the Dark Chocolate Chip which is suitable for vegetarians. All contain wholegrain oats, are wheat free, contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
