Graze Box Delivery Date: 16 March 2012
My Graze box arrived just at that time of the morning when energy levels are running low and the need to munch on something was growing stronger by the minute. What a welcome sound it was to hear that thud on the floor, knowing this week’s nibble box had just arrived. Opening it up right away and peering inside, I couldn’t help but exclaim ‘Yum!’.
Two of my favourites were in there – delicious ‘Hickory Smoked Nuts and Seeds’ and the indulgent ‘Apple and Cinnamon Flapjack’. You can read those reviews in week 1.
Green Olives with Basil and Garlic were back again, reviewed in weeks 12-14. These olives seem to turn up quite frequently. Olives are probably my least favourite item, but I'll keep ordering them for other family members.
And my one new Graze nibble this week was called ‘inspired by Jaffa Cake’. Mmmm another tasty looking combination of ingredients that I would never have thought of myself.
Jaffa Cake

Those people at Graze come up with some really apt names for their snacks. Before even looking at the ingredients, you can imagine from its name that there might be some sort of chocolate and orange flavour going on. And sure enough, included in the Jaffa Cake mix is a combination of roasted hazelnuts, orange infused sultanas and dark chocolate buttons.
Graze have a gorgeous selection of sultanas which have been infused with various flavourings and these have to be my favourites so far. The infusion of natural orange flavouring gives them a tangy sweet orangey taste, but you still have the texture of the sultana. And they go perfectly with the dark chocolate buttons.

There are only four of these chocolate buttons in the pack but they’re extra large so each one is worth around three regular sized buttons. Eat them with the sultanas and you get your Jaffa cake mix of orange and chocolate. There are plenty of tasty roasted hazelnuts which give the mix a lovely crunchy texture. Jaffa Cake was a recent addition to my list of snacks to try and I’m giving this a rating of LOVE.
