The Twisted Creme Egg bar solves these small issues with its bar form. As its name implies, it’s not a plain bar. It’s twisted! Instead of an egg shape, each Twisted bar has a thick layer of milk chocolate on the bottom while the top and sides are molded into a coil like shape which ends up looking like a caterpillar.
There are eight sections which you can break off at any point if you wish. You'll still get a bit of fondant oozing out as the chocolate doesn’t seal off each section. But this shape does make it easier to save some for later or share it with someone else.
The Twisted bar tastes just like a regular creme egg with the same white and yellow fondant filling. Since it weighs a bit more, it does have a few more calories than the Creme Egg. Each Twisted bar has 210 calories compared with a Creme Egg which has around 185 calories.
Twisted Creme Egg bars are widely available in many stores during the lead up to Easter and hopefully a bit longer!
