Graze Box Delivery Dates: 27 Jan - 3 Feb 2012
Over the past couple of weeks I’ve received just two new mixes in my Graze boxes, so I’ll review them together here. On 27 January the delivery included ‘Chilli and Lime Pistachios’, ‘Very Nor-ish’ and ‘Fig Roll’ plus the new one to try which was ‘Green Olives with Chilli and Garlic’.

Since I’ve had three of these four mixes before, this means I’ve previously rated them either LIKE or LOVE. Rating this way helps the people at Graze know what I like and don't like so they'll only send me nibbles that I want.

On 3 February my Graze box contained ‘Peking Dynasty’, 'Fruit and Seed Flapjack’ and 'Hickory Smoked Nuts and Seeds’. And new to try was ‘Love Mix’.
Reviews for all previous mixes can be found here.
Green Olives with Chilli and Garlic
Olives aren’t to everyone’s taste, and these are one of the few food items which I can happily live without. However, to be fair to all members of my family, I ordered the olives for my husband who likes them. But with that mix of garlic and chilli, once they were open, I couldn't resist trying one.
The punnet contains 14 green pitted olives flavoured with garlic, chilli, salt and black pepper. They’re floating in a mixture of sunflower oil and extra virgin olive oil. I found the chilli strength just enough to slightly mask the olive flavour, while the garlic was a little hard to distinguish. As for the olive eater in my family, he thought they were pretty good and was happy enough to polish them off. I’ll rate these as LIKE so they'll be sent again in the future.

Love Mix
Love Mix is a combination of goji berries, cherries and dried apricots. Goji berries have never been on my shopping list, but I have been wondering what they taste like. After all, they've been bestowed with ‘superfood’ label as they're a rich source of nutrients and certain health conscious celebrities seem to swear by them.
These bright red, tiny dried berries are slightly chewy with an odd taste, a bit like a salty raisin. Not the most enjoyable of dried fruits but certainly tolerable. Even more so when you consider the healthy dose of antioxidants you're getting. The apricots in the pack were sweet and flavoursome if a little tough to chew on. I would have prefered softer apricots but they provided a contrasting sweetness with the goji berries while the dried cherries added a sharper tang to the whole mix.
Overall, the whole Love Mix has just 99 calories, making it one of the lowest calorie snacks from Graze. I’ve given this a LIKE rating as it offers good value for what it contains, especially since goji berries are expensive when buying on their own.
