Crips Wheat & Potato Snacks

Crips, not crisps, are a different type of crunchy snack in a bag. They’re made from a combination of wheat and potato and are oven baked rather than fried.

Baking helps reduce their overall fat content, giving Crips 70 percent less fat than standard potato chips. They are also a good source of fibre.

Flavours available include Mature Cheddar Cheese & Spring Onion, Sea Salt & Balsamic Vinegar and Thai Sweet Chilli. Each 22.5g pack has just under 99 calories, making them a useful snack for those who are watching their weight.

Crips are extremely flavoursome, although they’re a little on the salty side. They have the thinness of a crisp but look like a miniature crispbread.

Crips are available in multiple outlets, though the main supermarket to stock them is Waitrose. You can find a detailed list of stockists in the UK and overseas at this link.
