Sharwoods 8 Poppadoms

Poppadoms, along with naan breads, are a popular accompaniment for curries. However, if you’re trying to keep your calorie and fat content down, avoid naan bread at all costs (unless you can get by with tearing off a small section).

Naan breads can have anything from 200 to 400+ calories. Poppadoms on the other hand, have far fewer calories with Sharwoods having just 37 calories each.

Poppadoms are a flatbread made from special flours, such as lentil, urid or chickpea. They’re like a large, crunchy crisp which are perfect to eat with a curry or for dipping into any other side dishes. But they’re equally as good with many other types of Asian meals, not just Indian curries.

Sharwoods Plain Poppadoms are made to a traditional Indian recipe and sundried in Madras for an authentic flavour. They’ve already been fried so they’re ready to eat straight from the pack. However, they’re especially delicious when warmed up.

Sharwood Poppadoms contain 8 per pack and they're available in supermarkets and convenience stores.
