KX Sugar Free Energy Drink

Tesco’s answer to Red Bull is KX, a carbonated energy stimulation drink which uses the slogan ‘Fire up your body. Focus your mind.’ This fruit flavour drink contains taurine, caffeine, guarana and B vitamins with sweeteners.

KX energy drink is available in a sugar free version which cuts down on the calories but not the caffeine. It’s sold in two sizes: 250ml cans and 1 litre bottles. One 250ml can has 8 calories compared with 110 calories for the KX variety with sugar.

Because it has a high caffeine content, there are warnings on the label that this drink is ‘not suitable for children or persons sensitive to caffeine due its high caffeine content.’

KX Sugar Free Energy Drink

One 250ml can contains 80mg of caffeine which is slightly more than a shot of espresso coffee. This is also the same caffeine content as Red Bull.

Regarding taste, its light fruity flavour makes it very easy to drink and it's quite refreshing.
