After Eight Mini Box |
Originally made by Rowntree in West Yorkshire, After Eights are now made by Nestlé after their takeover of Rowntree in 1988 and are currently sold in Europe and North America.
Their overall appearance including the smart green packaging, gives After Eight mints a superior aura. Each mint is individually slotted into an elegant paper sleeve, ready to slide out at a moment’s notice. Biting into an After Eight mint requires a delicate touch and as such, are best nibbled in tiny bites. Eating one whole somehow seems uncouth.
After Eights are available in different sized boxes including a 38g mini box which holds five mints. And for those who are watching their waistlines, eating one After Eight won’t do much damage since each mint has just 35 calories.
Available in supermarkets and other convenience stores who sell chocolate.
