Nevella Low Calorie Sweetener

Nevella is one of the newer additions to the low calorie sweetener market. Like Splenda, Nevella is made with sucralose, which is a sweetener made from sugar. In fact, they are a lot like Splenda, in taste and price.

However, there is one difference. Nevella has the added ingredient of bacillus coagulans cultures. What are these you may ask? Put simply, they're a beneficial bacteria, but if you want to find out more, WebMD can enlighten you further. Whether or not the amount of these bacteria are significant or not, most likely depends on the amount of sweetener you consume!

Each Nevella tablet is equivalent to one teaspoon of sugar and has less than one calorie. They're ideally used in place of regular sugar in hot drinks.

Nevella are sold in packs of 300 tablets in a handy dispenser pack. They aren't available everywhere yet, but you can find them in branches of Sainsbury's and Waitrose.
