Weight Watchers Thick Sliced Grained Bread

A new addition to the variety of Weight Watchers sliced breads is Thick Sliced Grained which is baked by Warburtons. Granary style breads are extremely popular these days but they often contain more calories than other types of bread. Although seeds and grains are beneficial for health, they are quite calorific which is why granary style and seeded breads may be deceptively high in calories per slice.

Weight Watchers have produced a 400g thick sliced, granary style loaf which is a combination of white bread with the addition of malted wheat flakes and wheat bran. It’s deliciously soft, low in fat and a good source of fibre. Each slice has 75 calories and is worth 2 Weight Watchers ProPoints. You can find this bread in larger supermarkets.

Nutritional Information: Per slice: 75 calories, 2.6g protein, 14.1g carbohydrate, 0.7g sugar, 0.6g fat, 0.1g saturates, 1.5g fibre, 0.3g salt.
