Outline of the Fatmanslim Diet Plan

The overall aim is to reduce fat intake by eating lower fat alternatives.

Typical meals might include a breakfast of fresh juice and a bowl of low sugar cereal with chopped banana. Lunch could be a wholegrain sandwich with low fat sliced meat, or cheese with salad and fruit to follow. Dinner could include grilled chicken, rice, salad or vegetables and fat free dressing followed by low fat yogurt or fruit. Snacks can include low fat, low sugar snack bars.

Overall, the fatmanslim programme has a lot going for it. It’s easy to maintain with no special foods or products such as books or DVDs having to be purchased. The plan is family friendly as everyone can eat the same food and there are no major obstacles when choosing to eating out.
