Mikado Chocolate Sticks

Milk and white chocolate Mikado
Mikado are made in France by Kraft Foods and are thin, crunchy biscuit sticks, coated with creamy chocolate. They've cleverly left a bit of biscuit stick uncoated at the bottom so you can safely hold it without getting melted chocolate all over your fingers. The 70g packet holds around 27 sticks and they're wrapped in a foil pouch to keep them fresh.

Mikado are a perfect treat for dieters who need a bit of a chocolate hit but don't want to tempt themselves into going near a regular chocolate bar, plus they’ve got that nice biscuit crunch to them.

The best thing about Mikado is that each stick has only 11 calories. Great for keeping in the fridge for when you fancy a quick bite of chocolate - grab one and run, so you don't eat them all at once. Kids love them too.

Lots of smaller outlets sell Mikado as well as supermarkets. They're available in milk chocolate, white chocolate and dark chocolate and a new addition to the range is Totally (hazel) Nuts.

New Mikado Daim - see this post.

Suitable for vegetarians.
