Full English Breakfast is a Dying Breed

British BreakfastAccording to a the Good Food channel's Big Adventure Breakfast Report, only 1 person in 100 now enjoys eating a traditional full English fry up for breakfast. Back in 1950 more than 50% regularly enjoyed a cooked breakfast each day. The main reasons for the decline of a cooked breakfast every morning come down to lack of time, growing awareness of health matters or preference for instant breakfasts.

Although we may not have the time or inclination for a cooked breakfast each morning, there's no reason why we can't look forward to a full English as an evening meal or at the weekend. And it's perfectly possible to turn it into a healthy meal - for instance why not have a full 'grill up' instead.
