No-No Houmous Flatbreads review

No No Houmous flatbreadsFirst off, this has nothing to do with that annoying advert, you know the one (No No, pain free hair removal)! In fact, this is a review for a brand of flatbreads I recently found, and they come in some very interesting flavours.

These flatbreads are houmous flavoured. Since my favourite dip for flatbreads happens to be houmous, I was intrigued to see how houmous-like these flatbreads would be. Most importantly, they have only 21 calories each!

No-No flatbreads are wheat cracker, thinly baked flatbreads. Each box contains 20 flatbreads, some of which become broken during transit. This doesn't bother me as I often just break off the odd half when I'm mindlessly nibbling in the kitchen.

I love these flatbreads and amazingly, they actually do taste like houmous. This no doubt has something to do with the ingredients. They’re made with 28% chickpea flour as well as olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and onion powder. All that’s missing is the tahini!

They certainly make a nice change from plain old flatbreads and they’re now a regular item on my shopping list together with my other faves – Ryvita Thins seeded.

Some other varieties to look out for from the No-No range include: Guacamole; Oat and Honey; Corn Sesame; Mixed Seed; Hot ‘n’ Spicy; Italian Herb; Sun Dried Tomato & Basil; Cinnamon Sugar.

Supermarkets selling No-No flatbreads include Tesco, Waitrose and Sainsbury.
