Graze Snack Box Review Smoky BBQ Corn

BBQ Jumbo Corn & Cashews has joined the growing list of my favourite Graze snacks. At 161 calories per punnet, it’s a bit higher than I’d prefer for a one off snack, but it’s easy enough to make them last longer.

Jumbo corn is a new eating experience for me. I wasn’t sure what they were exactly. They’re not like popcorn or sweetcorn. They look more like a corn kernel than popcorn, with a crunchy chickpea texture, only much more tasty.

The ingredients are jumbo salted corn, sunflower oil and salt. Also included are some delicious bbq flavour smoked cashew nuts.

The jumbo corn have a slightly oily texture which is just enough to take the edge of the dryness of the snack. The cashews are gorgeous and totally moreish. OK, it’s very hard to stop eating these, but due to their fat content, they are a satisfying snack.

The fat levels are high, as are the saturates and the salt. They’re reasonably high in fibre and are a good source of protein, manganese and phosphorus. Per punnet, there is 10g of fat, 3g of saturates, 4g of protein and 0.9g of salt.

Verdict: (Love)

Calories per 31g punnet: 164.
