'Salmon pieces with broccoli in a white savoury sauce topped with breadcrumbs.'
This is a frozen ready meal for one with 232 calories and 6 ProPoints.
Whenever I buy ready meals, it’s often with the intention of sharing them between two people and adding lots of veggies. This helps reduce the calories even more plus it makes it more filling and helps to meet the recommended daily quota of veg.
However, this meal on its own is so low in calories I was tempted to eat it all myself. Although I forgot to take a photo after cooking, the inside does look remarkably like the photo on the box. There are lots of chunky pieces of tender pink salmon and broccoli as well. This is despite the fact that the ingredients list shows just 12% salmon and 12% broccoli content. Perhaps I got lucky as there certainly seemed to be more.
