Could a meal be any easier to cook? This is ideal for times when you’re just too tired or have no time to do any preparation of any kind. It's a perfect size for a quick lunch or a light dinner. Just take it out of the freezer and put it in the microwave for 7 or 8 minutes. Return to find your steaming hot, flavoursome meal all ready to eat.
I wasn't too sure what to expect from this meal, partly because it was frozen to start with. But from the gorgeous smell coming from the microwave, it was promising.
I was pleased to notice that rice wasn't the dominant ingredient and there were loads of vegetables. In fact, there is a decent amount of food packed into this serving, and if you eat it with chopsticks, it takes even longer to eat (unless you’re a skilled and speedy chopstick user). It's also filling with 6g of fibre.

I particularly loved the large crunchy soya beans and chunky slices of courgette. The overall taste is quite fishy, more so than I would have expected from just salmon. After checking the ingredients I realised it includes smoked salmon which would account for the stronger flavour.
This is a range I will definitely be purchasing again and it’s great to have even more choice when searching for healthier ready meals.
