Ryvita Pumpkin Seeds & Oats Crispbreads review

Ryvita Crispbreads seem to have been around forever. In fact, they were first developed back in 1925. They’ve long been associated with slimming and dieting and have remained popular over the years. They must be good as they have the Royal Warrant ‘By Appointment to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’.

Until the 1980’s, Ryvita had only two varieties. However, these days you can find a much wider range among Ryvita products including crispbreads, crackerbreads, minis and Thins.

And here’s one of the crispbread range which caters for those who like seeds – Ryvita Pumpkin Seeds & Oats with 44 calories per slice.

Like the Sunflower Seed & Oats Crispbread, the Pumpkin Seeds & Oats are made with wholegrain rye flour and have a generous sprinkling of large pumkpin seeds both over the top and baked into each crispbread. And of course they have the familiar smooth side and dimpled side for spreading your toppings thinly or thickly.

They’re super high in fibre (18.3g per 100g) or 2.2g per crispbread. This helps make them more of a filling and satisfying snack.

There are plenty of alternative ways of enjoying Ryvita other than as a base for toppings. Eat them instead of toast for a quicker breakfast, or break them up into pieces and sprinkle onto soup instead of croutons.

Ryvita Pumpkin Seeds & Oats are widely available in supermarkets and other grocery outlets.
