MaltEaster – Malteser Milk Chocolate Bunny

If you’ve got through all your Christmas chocolate boxes and are craving for more, you don’t need to wait for Easter. Pretty much as soon as the stores open in the New Year, the shelves are full of chocolate Easter treats, especially the mini animal shapes and mini eggs.

If you’re searching for a little pre-Easter choccie treat, you’re bound to spot MaltEaster with its bright red wrapper. MaltEaster is a variant of a Malteser in a bunny shape.

This bunny has a thick outer covering of milk chocolate while the centre contains a creamy, deliciously malty filling mixed with crisp, light honeycomb pieces.

Each 29g MaltEaster Milk Chocolate Bunny has 157 calories and is suitable for vegetarians.

And a small word of assurance from Mars is written on the wrapper:

No actual Maltesers were hurt during the making of this bunny

If you're after a smaller treat, look out for MaltEaster Mini Bunnies which have just 62 calories each.
