Wheatgerm bread is tasty alternative for those who want to eat a healthier bread but find the taste of wholemeal a bit strong. Hovis Wheatgerm bread has a unique sweet and nutty taste and, as the name suggests, is made with regular 100% British wheat flour but with added wheatgerm (11%). This gives it extra fibre and nutrients including Vitamin E, B1 and B6. Although it doesn’t have quite as much fibre as wholemeal, it still clocks up around twice as much as white bread.
